Shoe Storage

Shoe storage has been an issue in our house for quite some time. I have heard mutterings about divorce and 'it's the shoes or me' so I have had to do something about it. I have seen lots of people using shoe boxes but didn't think the cheap ones looked very sturdy and was not going to pay the vast sums required for more solid boxes. So, I had a look in my cupboards and realised that the Tesco Value/ASDA Smartprice food storers (4.5 litre) were just the right size and transparent so I could see what was inside.
Unfortunately I could only buy 7 to add to the one I already had so I will be heading back there another day to buy rather a lot more. At £1.57 or something they really are a bargain.

looks good :-) Is it just one pair a box, or could you squeeze more in? (just thinking my massive collection would take up too much space in lovely neat boxes!)

I coud get more than one pair of flats but not heels.

It all looks so organised. I tried buying boxes from Matalan but it didn't last.

What a good idea! I thought about boxes but like Tat says, it would take up too much space so I went with shelves instead.
