Biking wear

Well it's a beautiful day here. Since moving my school run is now over a mile each way so we have started cycling to school everyday. It's playing havoc with my wardrobe choices and I am not even thinking about the lack of options hair wise. Anyway, I have mastered cycling in heels so that's not a problem, but this is about the only skirt I can wear. It's not just a case of decency, cycling shorts were invented for a reason, but shape as well. Anything remotely tight makes getting on the bike impossible and anything long is just dangerous. So, do I have to give up on skirts all together?

Shirt - New Look
Vest & Belt - Primark
Skirt & Shoes - Matalan

I used to have a pair of tracksuit bottoms which I pulled over my outfit - it was also good in winter when the paths could get very wet and muddy - they saved my outfit...

Having said that, your skirt ends up bunched round your hips - thank god for easy care stretch knits that don't crease!
