More vest tops and shorts for the last couple of days. We have been hit with a heatwave and I am not coping with it at all. I am melting!

Walk Day

The day of my 20 mile sponsored walk finally arrived. Here we are before we started. I haven't got any pictures of us finishing but we managed the 20 miles in 7 1/2 hours which was pretty good given the 27 degree heat. We have been raising money for Breast Cancer Care.

Wednesday

Wednesday was the only day last week which involved anything other than packing. We went to a friends house to celebrate her little boys' 7th birthdays and had water fights in the garden. It was great!

Pack Pack Packing

This is as close as I get to anything resembling a proper outfit at the moment. I am in a bit of a uniform of crops, a vest and crocs. It's just comfy and practical for sorting and packing. We are working on the loft at the moment so no chance of wearing anything nice.

The little lady decided to join me today. Yesterday was a chill out day at home so no need to post pics of me in my grubbies. Today has been a busy day of making plans for the move and getting things organised. It's going to be very hectic the next couple of months so I apologise in advance if postings are sporadic. For anyone interested this is the latest picture of the cause of all my stress! (the little man in Yellow is son #1 :-) )

Swindon Saturday

Spent all day in Swindon, we went to look at our new house and saw the progress on the build. We then looked at a couple of other houses to make sure we were totally happy with the house we are buying. Then we spent the afternoon with Pippa's godmother and her two kids which was really lovely.

Booting it again

It is yet another cold and wet day here. I had a long hard day yesterday with house moving problems and traffic jams so didn't get a chance to take a picture. I'm really not sure about this belt it just doesn't seem to sit right. I think I may have to send it off to the charity shop. I haven't worn this skirt in ages and forgot how much I loved it!

More School Girl Chic than School Gate Chic

The weather has turned cold again here so back to boots again. Managed a short training walk today but Pippa isn't all the well so only did a couple of miles. Wedding

My Mum took a photo for me just as we were about to leave for a wedding yesterday. It was a fantastic wedding and I haven't danced so much in ages. Three solid hours!!!! I won't lie........the shoes did not last the night and I kicked them off in favour of bare foot for the dance floor.

I managed to pick up the bag and shoes in a charity shop in town in the morning before we left.

Legs and Tanning

I have been trying these self tanning moisturisers and although they have made a noticeable difference I am still a ridiculously pale colour. I might as well just accept that I have really pale skin and stop trying to hope for some miraculous change. I blame these magazines full of women with beautiful brown endless legs for setting up and unrealistic ideal.
