I am being increasingly drawn to buying a pair of cowboy boots to be my winter walking boots for this year. I need some new flattish boots I can do school running and stuff in. Whilst I can and have done it in my long black boots it's a 2 mile round trip over an evil hill so I wouldn't want to have to do it often in them.
So, will cowboy boots go with my usual style and what colour would be best? Or should I just step away from the cowboy boots altogether?

I've always loved the thought of cowboy boots, but I've never actually tried any on! They don't look that comfortable, so I'm not sure how they'd be for walking...
My concern would be that with their pointy-ness they would make my feet look big?
Why not go and try some on?
(and please can you comment on my second post of the day ;-) I need advice! ;-))
I love my newly found Cowboy Boots. I will be planning the next three days outfits ( I have a conference) around them.
I have my cowboy boots on today. They are pretty comfy though I've not done any majorly long walks in them yet. I think I just need to break them in some more. I want to be able to wear them in New York.
I think cowboy boots look great with skirts and dresses, as well as under jeans, so they should fit your style perfectly.
I have mine on today over my jeans. I have had these for more than 2 years and bought them from faith for around £80 they are still going strong, are comfy, warm, do not rub and are great for walking in!
I would suggest that you spend as much as you can afford - genuine cowboy boots have very thick leather and strong soles and heels - therefore you get a lot more miles out of them and they are waterproof etc (a must for this country). Check out ebay especially the american site!
