Eight Hours Later

Well, I started cleaning at 8am this morning and haven't really stopped! And my house is still not spotless, in fact I am not even finished downstairs yet!!!!!!!!!

Here come the girls...

I usually see the girls for coffee on a Thursday morning but we don't meet when it's holidays because even we can see that 5 adults and 12 children is not going to lead to a relaxing chat! But......we do meet once a month for a meal and lots of wine. Tonight is the night! Even better we have another friend visiting from Liverpool and one of our number had a new baby on Friday so we will get baby snuggles too! No doubt I will get rather tipsy as usual but as it's only at the house at the bottom of my garden I can stagger home quite happily. Please all keep your fingers crossed my children do not wake me up at 5.30am tomorrow!

Apart from feeling like the Milk Tray Man I couldn't resist my snuggly warm jumper dress today. Sorry about the awful picture - Alan gave up trying to get in to work today (why exactly the whole country seems unable to cope with a tiny amount of snow I can never understand) so took my photo for me and is, quite frankly, fired as a photographer!

I also have to share my experiences of bleaching a pair of my jeans this morning.....now, either Tesco value bleach is just water with a funny smell or Primark jeans are dyed with the most resilient dye ever made, but after 30mins of soaking the jeans are as dark blue as ever!!

SNOW!!!!!!!

We very rarely get any snow here so there was massive excitement in my house not only when I saw it but the children could hardly contain themselves this morning!! As is usual I think it'll all be gone by mid-morning so we got up early to get out and have a play. The children absolutely covered me in it. So much fun!!!! I would love to go somewhere where you get real proper snow by the foot not the few inches we occasionally get here.

Lego Day

We are playing lego today and our only errand is to run to the post office. Amazingly there is no primark in my outfit at all today - that has to be a first!

Half Term

Well, it's Half term here so I have my two lovely boys home with me. We are toilet training Pips as well so lots of time at home this week. The plan for today is to bake loads of biscuits....yummy!

Saturday

Spent all of Saturday preparing for a car boot sale only for it to be rained off on Sunday! Ah well, I'm sure we'll make it another week.
