F F F Friday!

I feel like I look a total mess today but not really much time to do anything about it. I am aiming to get to 10,000 words in my novel today so will be busy busy busy. Off to toddlers with Pips this morning though - I need the biscuits to keep my creative juices flowing! (well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!)

The Crocs Have it

I rarely wear my crocs out and about anymore but they were the only option this morning - the blisters are agony and with the strap at the front the rubber monstrosities don't touch the area at all. Bliss!

Damn you flat boots

I got up ridiculously early this morning because I had promised to cook the children porridge for their breakfast. So we had loads of time to walk to school rather than taking the car. I thought I would be sensible and put on my little purple pixie boots because they were flat so better for walking. How wrong was I?! I now have the most gigantic blisters on both my heels. Fortunately my friend kindly took pity on me and drove Pips and I home, however I seem to have volunteered for a job on the PTFA in the process! So from now on I am sticking to heels for the comfort value!

Tuesday

I had a great day of shopping planned with The Boot Queen today but unfortunately had to cancel because of workmen coming to fix my front door. However, I have a friend coming over this afternoon who I haven't seen since the Summer so that will be lovely.

This is one of those outfits that looked completely different in my head to what it does in reality. Really not sure about the second dress. Think I should probably have stuck with just the jumper dress. I am braving the black boots because it's not actually raining at the moment. Have got some great ideas about what to replace them with though thanks to my boots advisor.

What a great start to the week

It's only Monday morning and already I am having a fantastic week. My middle one is full-time at school from today which is going to save me hours of school running and my business is getting off the ground.

Birthday Party

My Mum had a birthday party today so we all headed over there for lunch and to see the rest of the family. It was a really lovely day and we even managed to get a pic of us all together. However, this weekend hasn't been all great because my black boots have started leaking and I managed to rip my denim skirt!
